Captain Scurvy's Most Dastardly Pop-Up Pirate Ship by: Nick Denchfield October 07, 2005 I first came across this book when a little boy I baby-sit for received it for his 7th birthday. Once you get over how truly brilliant and intricate the 360 degree pop up format is there is plenty of fun still to be had finding a selection of hidden items, these are tiny and ingeniously hidden all over the ship. Charlie the Chicken by: Nick Denchfield May 23, 1997 This book is my 18 month old son's #1 favourite and all of his friends love it too. I've had to repair it more times than I can mention! It's quick to read, and both I and my son really enjoy it. It lends itself to expressive delivery very well. The only disconcerting note is that Charlie's "Mummy" appears to be a rooster?! I can't recommend this book enough, either for your kids or as a gift. |
