Jolly Phonics Letter Sound Poster (Jolly Phonics) by: Sue Lloyd 2002-01 My son age 4 is learning his phonics sounds at home and this poster is in the living room and also his bedroom. We spend about 10mins sounding out the letter that he has learnt. The pictures along with the letter reminds your child (and you) the correct sound for each letter. Well worth the small price for this poster. |

I thought buying this book would help. Instead, I found the characters dry and the plot of each story tiresome. Each sound has the letter written in black and white with arrows showing the way the word is to be written, which is helpful. These have so far been excellent as any words that he is struggling with have been stuck up on the wall at home to aid with recognition. As the previous reviewer mentioned these are large but for us that has been of benefit as he can see them from some distance.
