This is a beautiful book. Not only does it deal with numbers up to 10, but the artwork is a superb illustration of an African village and its surrounding wildlife, with a wonderful surprise ending.
My little boy's delighted smile when we re-discover no. 10 each time says it all.

I bought this book for my 13 year old, what a well written funny book. It is written in an informative yet relaxed way that most normal teenagers will understand. Although we have a relaxed approach to answering sex questions there are some things a teenage boy just cant ask his parents, this book filled in the gaps. Buy it !

After reading the reviews I thought let me give it a try. My three year old and 23mth old boys both love it! They love the rhymes and the different types of dogs. My three yr old can even tell you the next rhyming word after only a wk reading the stories to them. Its a bed-time treat. I would reccomend it to anyone with babies and toddlers. Its absolutely adorable! I plan to purchase more from this series for my kids later on.

I've never given a bad review, however out of all the books my 3 year old has this has got to be the worst....yes the pictures are good - but the use of the word 'bad baby' doesnt sit with me well....Why are we saying the baby was 'bad'? Because he didnt say thank you or pay? I really think there are lots of books out there for children which make better use of the English language than this one...bad baby - it's awful!

I introduced my seven year old Grandson to Enid Blyton and he can't get enough of her books. He is a Californian who is now living in France so has no knowledge of England at any time. He doesn't care he loves the stories. They are not old fashioned to him they are just good tales. With CD's he can listen at any time instead of having to wait for bedtime for us to read to him.

This is a little book of 25 Spanish crossword puzzles. Maybe puzzle isn't quite the right word here as each puzzle only consists of around six words! Still, it's only easy if you know all the words. You're likely to pick up some useful vocabulary even if you are an intermediate student as I could only manage to finish two puzzles unaided out of the 25. I was 'almost' put off this book by the first review as my 5 year old daughter is a 'girly girl' who loves pink and sparkly and unicorns too. I am so glad I went with the other reviews. This is the best activity/colouring book we have had...and trust me we have been through a lot! Yes we needed to help her with reading some of the ideas/instructions for a page, but once we did we were amazed at what she could come up with using her own imagination. Max is a hedgehog, he wants to go to the park but to do that he has to cross the road safely. One problem, the traffic is terrible! He sees humans cross over safe and sound so why can't hedgehogs?
