Lynley Dodd is one of my children's favourite authors. It is great that we no longer have to go 'down under' to be able to buy them.
This is almost as good as the original Hairy MacClarey from Donaldson's Dairy. You'll admire the poetry of the words, the rhythmn of the sentences, and the alliteration of the words.
Best read out loud.

I asked our oldest son, who had a huge bag of worries, to read this to his younger siblings. Although it is not aimed at his age he was able to hear and respond to the clear and simple message which applies to any age. It has really helped.

This is one of Ms Blyton's better Famous Five books.

I bought this for my son after we got the Gruffalo and this book didn't dissapoint. I remember the first time I read it to him and he laughed out loud all the way through and I ended up having to read it about 5 times in a row and by the end I was exhausted at laughing at my son laughing. I now have to read it every night at bedtime. Its a great book to read aloud and and will be sure to become one of your kids favourite books. A great buy.
