I thought that Best Friends was a really good book because it was funny and I thought that the character Alice's mum was not very nice and spoilt her daughter. Alice's best friend Gemma has a normal mum. I like the illustrations, some of them are very funny.

You should definitely buy this book, because it has got a lot of strange things like a five poster bed. In Ottoline goes to school there are a lot of letters and postcards. Ottoline goes to a special gifted school but she only finds her special gift at the end. In every Ottoline book you get a little present. The present in Ottoline and the yellow cat is some postcards and it also has some stickers.

This is by far my favourite Enid Blyton novel and the one that led to my love of reading. I quickly devoured the rest of the Famous Five series, enjoying them all immensely. This one, however, will always remain my favourite.

This is my all time favourite book and Jacqueline Wilson is my best author. I have read many of her books and have enjoyed all of them. Candyfloss is very good and is all about a little girl called Floss who doesn't want to go to Australia with her mum and Steve. But she decides to go and live with her dad instead. What will happen to Floss and her dad when they get chucked out of the cafe?

I was given this book by a teenage collegue,who said this was a great read and as I'm in my late twenties was fairly sceptical. It certainly prove me wrong. I really enjoyed this book and just before i finished it, i bought the next in the triology. I saw the film after i had read the book and the film disappointed. It is not a patch on the film. Read this book instead of watching the film!

What a shame that a good story was spoilt by inappropriate language . The subject matter of a sick child, dog and football were all highly appealing to a young child beginning to read. Sadly the age
group at which this book is aimed are also very impressionable and to include bad language at this age is unnecessary.

I really enjoyed this book from the first page. I like the way Enid Blyton introduces new characters and tells you about their personality. I think I would love to be at St Clare's and play lacrosse and go swimming. The teas sound lovely and I think it would be good to have to stay at school over the weekends with all your friends
