My son adores Mr Man and Little Miss books. The anniversary books are a very welcome addition to the collection. Written and illustrated by the author's son, they preserve the spirit, wit and even language of the older books, but with some funny twists and new storylines that keep the kids wondering. The "magic series" of stories involving dragons, knights, princesses, witches, mermaids and other magical creatures is a MUST for all fans.

After a gap of over 40 years, it's great to be reading these wonderful books again. I started with 'Finn Family Moomintroll' because I vaguely remembered this one as including most if not all of the regular characters that inhabit Moomin valley. According to other reviewers, and the noted Jansson biographer Marie Lecomte, some of the later books in the series show a slightly darker side, and hint at a troubled author. I've read both these books and I have a bit of an obsession about the series. I got the books separately but I like the design of this set. The books are very enjoyable, very brief that adds to their charm.

I hope someday the "Half-Blood Princes potion book" becomes available.

As an avid fan of every Mr Men and Little Miss book ever, this Christmas I was delighted to see that there was another new one out! I really enjoyed this book. As always it was beautifully illustrated and the story was an original take on the Dickens classic.

I am no longer a child but I still find these books as interesting and fun as I did when I was eight years old.

I hope you enjoy it, like I did.

A lovely read, I find myself reaching time and time again for this book because of the hilarious "comments" made my Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. This really does remind of a fantasy textbook, in the way that we would all love to scribble in our textbooks from time to time, to enliven the dull formulas and such that we all have had to learn! However, this is anything but dull.

A wonderful set for chidlren and adults alike. Harry POtter has captivated the world for many years and will do for many in the future. Why bother with the box set? I think it is always good to have a perfect set of books for prosterity and this certainly fits the bill, in our house we have tha dult editions in the study and this set in the library room, this is one of those series where we ahve to eagerly wait til enough time has past so we can read it again.
