Maybe 4 1/2 stars, but what the heck. The theme of the book does not intrigue me so much nor do I think this is great "science fiction". It is, however, very funny and - along with The Castafiore Emerald - contains probably the best dialogue of any Tintin book.

A special mention should go to Captain Haddock who is easily the most complex and the funniest Tintin character. Here he, of course, gets drunk a couple of times, and

This book smacks of having been studio produced under Herge's rather remote direction. The characters do not ring true, the subtlety, lightness of touch and gentle humour that Tintin readers will have become used to are lacking. Truth is, it does not seem to have been produced by Herge at all, but by a team of second rate imitators who have managed to miss the point entirely.

In the last volume of Dragonball Z we saw the return of Frieza and his defeat by the boy from the future, he warned goku of the oncoming attack of two androids coming to destroy them in 3 years time.
It is now 3 years later and after everyone has trained up they head to face the androids. Goku bouts with one of the androids and his virus begins to kick in (see last volume) will he be able to survive? Will somebody save him? Love Hina 6 is one of my favourite's of the 14-book series by Ken Akamatsu. This one keeps up with the friendly humour and chaos that surrounds Keitaro Urashima's new life in the Hinata house girls dormitory left to him by his grandma.

This book talks about when Mutsumi comes to Hinata house and all of the trouble that happens when she is over. During the book, its Christmas and Keitaro tries hard to get Naru's present.

Awww, this manga is so cute and girly it's almost ridiculous! X3 Cute characters, cute storyline (except in later volumes it takes a bit of a darker turn) and REALLY cute art! I also like how each of the girl's has traits from a certain endangered animals e.g. Ichigo and the Iriomote wildcat.

If you like shojo or the supergirl kind of manga like Sailor Moon, you will really enjoy this! <3

If like me you're desperate to get your children to read more then The adventures of Tin-Tin are a good way to do this. My son's 11 and is a big fan. There's a huge base of these great books and I would thoroughly recommend them. They are totally innocuous, so there's no worries about inappropriate language or situations, not that I'm being unrealistic as 5 mins on an xbox360 seems to give children more exposure to societies less pleasant side than anyone really needs, but strangely enough children seem to enjoy a simplistic fantasy ...
