This is a sad day for Rupert, Stuart Trotter's drawings are just not good enough after John Harrold's beautiful and detailed artwork. Harrold was a worthy successor to Tourtel and Bestall. I hope a new artist can be found to rescue Rupert, or bring back John Harrold.
In the meantime if you want to buy a great Rupert Annual for this Christmas get the 1963 facsimile produced this year and see just how enchanting a real Rupert Annual can be.

This is a sad day for Rupert, Stuart Trotter's drawings are just not good enough after John Harrold's beautiful and detailed artwork. Harrold was a worthy successor to Tourtel and Bestall. I hope a new artist can be found to rescue Rupert, or bring back John Harrold.

It lists all the poems and annotates them with critical information you can use for your aqa a english language essays telling you all the key themes, feelings and attitudes towards the poem and lanuage used. Then if thats not enough it gives you sample essays by top class students on titles that regualarly come up in the exams. I've been getting really worried about my gcse maths revision, and I've been all set to fail, but this book is heaven sent!It's got explanations of everything you'll need, notes, questions, multiple choice options and answers. Before each exercise there is very little explanation on how to complete it, also there is no english translation for any of the french sentances. This is because you need another book called "French Grammar and Usage" as explained in the user guide. In "French Grammar and Usage" (althought I don't have the book)explains fully how to use ce qui, dont, y, en etc. Then you use this book to practice. This is the single most useful resource available to people doing A2 OCR biology and I highly recommend it. The textbook assigned (Biology 2) is designed to cover all students aiming from A-E whereas this book is for students with higher capabilities, more in the A-b range. My teacher uses this book over Biology 2 and its always fun to enter a lesson and know every word that is going to come out his mouth.
