As much a children's as an adult book with an attractive layout,clever use of illustratoins integrated with text and clever type setting. The quality of this comic annual never fails to amaze me. This is a perfect present or stocking filler for a child.
If I had to nit-pick i'd say some of the newer characters don't quite meet the standard of old favourites such as The Bash Street Kids or Dennis The Menace! However, still definitely worth the money.

This book of poems is great fun to read for adults and kids alike. My four year old is daft for dinosaurs and simply couldn't get enough but as parents we didn't tire reading it. The poems are not just silly rhymes either, (though there are some), they are challenging too. James and the Dinosaur is stimulating on a whole range of levels for instance.
