My 17 month old loves carefully taking the birthday card from Lucky Ducky out of the envelope and putting it back again. Lots of flaps and tabs to pull but be careful of the balloons as they can easily be pulled off. For parents, Maisy's special birthday pants never ceases to make me smile! Somehow it lacks the humour of Maisy Goes to Bed, and the suspense(!) of Where's Maisy's Panda?. Our 18 month old daughter also seems to have more trouble with the tabs in the Playground book, and I can see it will need repairing before long. As ever though, it's beautifully illustrated and the book itself oozes quality with bright colours and clean white paper. |
