This film is a funny, clever and very entertaining piece which is really made by the high quality of the acting and the excellent musical numbers. Amy Adams makes a perfect Disney princess and is supported by a super cast, each of whom makes their character believable. It's lovely from a romantic point of view but was also enjoyed by my ten year old sons who watched it a number of times (just don't tell their friends....)Highly recommended feel good fun.

Anyone who is in the mood for a relaxing evening then look no further, The Wedding Date is a heart-warming, hilariously funny and lovable chick flick. It's one that every woman out there will love and watch over and over.
4 stars, a truly enjoyable rom-com! Worth the purchase.

I was really looking forward to this dvd was bought for me as a birthday gift. I sat down and prepared to watch it, only to horrified to have to!! listen to Gwenyth Paltro whine about Aids in africa, you can't skip it or fast forward you have to watch every time you put in the dvd.
I am outraged I will now never give money to whatever organisation it was on principle and dvd went it the bin

Any film that comes with a U certificate and stars talking animals can usually be guaranteed to be slightly lame - flimsy plot, rubbish script and duff acting. Not here! Underdog is tons of fun. Enough slapstick to keep 4 year olds happy, enough toilet humour to keep 7 year olds happy and enough wink-nudge one-liners to make the grown-ups giggle and it's all helped along by the brilliantly droll voicing of Underdog by Jason Lee of My Name is Earl fame. Not being a great fan of Adam Sandler - i was very apprehensive about watching this DVD - what a surprise , not a lugh out loud comedy , but a very well thought out light hearted romantic drama very much in the genre of the beautiful Alec Baldwin film "Prelude to a Kiss" . Gentle , understanding and warm . You'll love this one - it will captivate you the further you watch it .

this dvd box set is great i just got it from the usa as its cheaper u get both parts for only £27.
other than that ) it realy is a great program to watch i liked it very much and i have most of them i would put this 9/10 as it has good story lines good actors and above all just a well rounded screen play and keeps you intrested in it so you want to watch the next 1 and the next 1.

When I first saw this adaptation for TV in the 1980s, I thought it was a fantastic recreation of M M Kaye's epic story of Anjuli and Ash which I had read some years previously. However, having recently reread the book, and followed it up with this DVD, I have to admit that this time round it fell well short of my expectations.
