A very good movie, its about The Water Horse (The Loch Ness Monster ?) who grows from been very tiny to a huge animal in a very short space of time. Beautifully shot with excellent locations and settings, gives the impression of Scotland during World War II.
Very good looking creature, looks very life like.
Very entertaining for all the family which the kids will love.

I love this film, Matt Damon does so well in the action scenes. I have to say I didn't think that I would love it as much as I do. Definately one to watch over and over again.

Thanks to my Cineworld season ticket, I see many films in the cinema; one or two a week throughout 2007. My favourites for the year included Zodiac, the latest Harry Potter, The Lives of Others, and Brick Lane. But the best of all - and the best by a long way - was The Flying Scotsman. As others have mentioned, this is a biopic of Graeme Obree and about ordinary people doing great things. I never really got the nack of 3 hour films, 'Lord of the rings' etc. but Troy is a powerful action packed film with plenty of hard fighting.
Troy is an 'Epic' you may find the term when you look at Kingdom of heaven, Gladiator or Master and Commander. I can clearly see Troy up with films like that. I found this film on VHS in my local bargain bin for £2, being a sort of on the spot compulsive buyer, I went for it.

As soon as 'Making Time' by Creation came on during the opening montage i knew i was going to love this film. The characters and interplay between them is superb (my particular favourite is the awkwardness between Ms.Cross and Max Fischer) and in my opinion, this is Bill Murray at his best (even better than lost in translation which I thought was brilliant).

These red-cover editions were supposed to be extended but they weren't. That's the reason the "blue covers" stayed collectable. Supremacy is the excellent fast chase film with barely any lulls or wasted words and the soundtrack by John Powell has the largest amout of new material to accompany the theme.

So avoid these red cover copies for the first two films and just buy them in the double box with the sky blue cover OR the very last DVD Box set with a black cover. Now that Matt Damon's doubtful to star in any more Bourne films, the black ... Read More:

If your looking for ancient battle scenes involving shields, spears, arrows and swords then this will be an enjoyable film.

The story line is preposterous involving Orlando Bloom running away with the wife of a powerful king triggering a war. The characters are okay but you watch a film like this for the action and not an intelligent meaningful script.

Thank God for Rob Roy, the nightmares of Braveheart have been swept aside. OK so the English are still the nasty villains of the piece, but I don't care, Tim Roth just does it so well. An all round great film which is well worth spending a Saturday night in for. In fact watch Braveheart first, a film of comic genius to be sure, then watch Rob Roy. Then surely, like me, you will wonder to yourself how did Gibsons woeful attempt get nominated for all those Oscars and by heck WIN, while this quality piece of cinema is all but forgotten!!!!

I can't comment on whether this film is as good as the original or even whether it is faithfully adapted from the book, but as a thriller, it certainly doesn't disappoint.

I have never been a huge fan of Matt Damon, having been admittedly put off him by an ex housemate who was obsessed. However, as Jason Bourne, a secret agent with amnesia, he puts in a superb performance.

I was on the edge of my seat throughout this movie and I particularly enjoyed the police chase where our hero successfully navigates a mini down a flights of stairs!
