Yes this is basically a kids film, but as a 40+ person with no kids who has purchased the DVD, I'll happily own up to being an adult who loves this film.

This film set the benchmark for computer animated films when it was released in 1995 and it still looks good today. The story is simple and the characters are marvellous. These days I refuse to watch most CGI movies, mainly because they can run them off a mill as many times a year as they want. For me, Toy Story 2 represents the pinnacle of Computer based films. I sometimes wonder about what is a review and what is a history lesson or what is a rehash of the entire film. Basically I think that in this scenario we should look at; Is it a good film? does it make you want to see more? ARE YOU ENJOYING IT? or are you so busy nit picking that you miss the whole context of what is going on? Do not watch this film with anything other than an open mind and an acute sense of outrageous humour. woof woof.

I watched this movie in 3 instalments because it's nearly 3 hours long.
It was okay but the storyline and style of acting and actors were much like I've seen in countless gangster type films like this one.It was a little predictable and I think the fact that Martin Scorsese got the man who was writing the story as a book to delay finishing the book and help him write a screenplay lowered the quality.Screenplays usually work best when a finished and established book is adapted for the screen.

This movie sits rights at the top of my favourite ever movies, ahead of Goodfellas, Stand By Me, Sleepers and A Bronx Tale.

It contains an all star cast, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Sharon Stone, James Woods, Frank Vincent and more..

The storyline is awesome, the acting is brilliant and the soundtrack is incredible.
