My attention was drawn to this film after reading of the poor treatment of the animals (dogs) on the set. The American Humane Society that monitor the treatment of animals on film sets found that several of the dogs had contracted the Parvo virus which lead to several animals having to be destroyed.

I think if the film is good or bad is besides the point. I could not show young children this film knowing that the cast were treated so poorly. Shame on Disney for distributing this 'family' ... Read More:

A light-hearted animated film set in the woods at the bottom of some mountains. People and creatures with varying levels of intelligence (the bear and the little squirrel thing are my favourites) supply the laughs and of course progress the story at a good pace.

I think this film is suitable for the majority of people. I can't understand why it hasn't been distributed more widely.

The plot is very good, with a surprise twist at the end. Belushi proves in this he can act and act well....can't believe this film is 14 years old. More films like this please Mr Belushi.

This film is great, a little different from Whoopi's other films like; Jumpin' Jack Flash and Burglar. This film was really good it kept me clued to my chair all the way through. The chemistry is great and so was the acting, overall i give it 4 stars. Well worth checking out but may be hard to get.
