This is a wonderful film especially for all those who have a 10-year-old horse-mad daughter! Elizabeth Taylor`s portrayal of a girl who has an ambition to win the Grand National is very convincing and gives a preview of her great acting ability. The family life is quite authentic and the viewer is made to feel that they are actually "dropping-in" on a family discussion. Larry needs a job to prove to his son that he is not justall hot-air.So he gets at job at the large Natural History Museum. Sounds a pretty tame job? Yes, maybe but not if your the night guard. Alone in the mueseum where things come alive at night.

No complaints with the films themselves but the DVDs have no options on them other than PLAY and SUBTITLES - they are not divided into chapters so you cannot go directly to the musical numbers like most classic musical DVDs. This is a pity as both my 8 yr old girl and 3 yr old boy love watching the music and dancing but some parts of these films are not suitable for young children (eg. the fighting, guns, and fire scenes in The Harvey Girls and the WW1 scenes in For Me and My Gal.)
