In a way I think Shrek the Third suffers a little from the success of the previous movies. They were exceptional and anything that doesn't quite live up to that is going to get panned. But this is unfair. Sre, so Shrek 3 is not the greatest movie out there, but amoungst the seemingly endless flow of kidult aniamtion this still stands out as one of the best.

I had such low expectations of this film, because everyone had told me it was just a bit naff and silly. Yes! It is naff and silly, but in the best way as physically possible! Well what can say, you can't beat a better animated movie than the green coloured oger called Shrek. I am 30 year old male and I still can't stop watching it and laughing out loud.

Its a great addition to your collection even with if you have the previous versions, just to have the extras on the second disc is worth the purchase.

I hope that such a version comes out for the third too.

If you like incredibly stupid films with sad and very low brow "comedy" with almost no plot to it then this is the film for you!!!

I knew from the trailer that this would be a dumbed down film, but this was REALLY dumb, think Bill and Ted's adventure (which I like) and divide the comedy by at least half and times the stupidity level by at least 4 and you'll have a good idea as to how good this is or NOT!!!

This film isn't the best of the three, but this is still a complete classic. It has a good storyline, great humour throughout and great characters; Dr Evil especially. Best character no doubt. The humour is great, such as the names of some characters such as Number Two and Alotta Fagina; then there's hilarious moments, such as when Dr Evil freezes himself along with his cat Mr Bigglesworth, which loses it's fir. Then there's Mr Bigglsworth's face at the end of the film when it's re-frozen.
