1986.. that version was much better than this! The transformers are american, the action scenes are american, the whole thing is american! Transfomers were brittish cars in the 1986 version! And the generation 1 series, nothing wrong with americanisum, just doesn't work with transformers!

A Little Princess [1996]

this movie is so heart warming and beautifully shot. It has made me cry EVERY time i watched it! the actors are brilliant, and Liesel Matthews is fantastic. Its set in the 1940s (but in a way you forget) and sara crew, who lived with her dad in india has to move to America (i think new york) and stay a bording school. her mother died when she was very young, and all she has left of her is a locket (which the evil headteacher takes off her at one point). when the headteacher hears news that her father dies ... Pokemon - The First Movie [2000]

starring: Veronica Taylor, Rachael Lillis, Eric Stuart, Kunohiko Yuyama
directed by: Michael Haigney, Kunihiko Yuyama

October 23, 2000

In the beginning, God created man. And He saw that it was good. Then Man created Pokemon. And it too, was good.

This is the first, and in my opinion, definitive, movie that features the Japanese creations, Pokemon. A craze that took the whole world by storm back in the late 90's, and is still going strong today. You only have to look at the number of Pokemon movies that exist now to see that. But there can only be one number one. And this is it. Without a doubt. I can honestly say that even now, ... Read More:

Overall looking from a movie point of view, it's not bad at all. As a fan of Pokemon i like watching the series, the movies and playing the games. I like the way the movie was produced and done. I like the visual effects, which some say may not work. But i think overall it's a nice family film, and i can't see a Pokemon fan being disappointed. But great to check out!

I definately think, that out of all the Pokemon movies (and there are dissapointingly a lot of them which cheapens the whole franchise) Pokemon The Movie 2000 is one of, if not the best. It's only competator is obviously the first movie which cannot be surpassed by any of the others. The plot is very typical and uninspired but when I first watched this so many years ago, it inspired me. Pokemon has always managed to inspire me and it still does now. I JUST bought the movie again after not seeing it for many many years and I enjoyed it ... Read More:

I got this movie for my birthday, and I watched it about three times over. If you haven't seen the movie, then this is the story.
A young boy (who is actually a young Prof. Oak) ventures into the forest where Celebi lurks. He doesn't know this, but when a Scyther and Houndoom catches Celebi, the boy (named Sammy) saves the Celebi. It travels to the future and they meet Ash, Brock and Misty and Pikachu, but Celebi has already fled. They find the afraid Celebi in a small cave, but Sammy takes it and Celebi takes a great liking to Sammy ... Read More:

Shutter [2008]

starring: Joshua Jackson, Rachael Taylor, David Denman, John Hensley, James Kyson Lee
directed by: Masayuki Ochiai

September 08, 2008
Shutter tells the story of a photographer who is involved in a car accident. Whilst his wife is driving down a country lane, they seemingly crash into a girl who vanishes. Soon after, they start to notice strange, white blurry images on photographs printed after the accident.

What follows is yet another generic remake of an Asian film. Whilst it is entertaining enough, there are never any real scary moments. All of the "jumps" are so obvious you see them coming a mile off. The trick of having the camera very slowly creep up behind someone, ... Read More:

Today I recived my copy of Destiny Deoxys (I m a UK importer so :P) so in true Pokemon fanboy stlye I will review it!

Very good. It seems the producers have really gone downtown to chinatown (In other words did a good job). The opening explaining Pokemon was far better then what previous movies has done with all those Pokemon and so on.

Animation. Top notch. The 3D effects worked well and I m not the kinda guy that thinks 3D works well in animes or cartoons (Thinks of Final Fantasy Unlimited. EEK!).

Deoxys. Finally learned how ... Read More:
