This film is a funny, clever and very entertaining piece which is really made by the high quality of the acting and the excellent musical numbers. Amy Adams makes a perfect Disney princess and is supported by a super cast, each of whom makes their character believable. It's lovely from a romantic point of view but was also enjoyed by my ten year old sons who watched it a number of times (just don't tell their friends....)Highly recommended feel good fun.

I have to say I normally love Tim Burton's films - even the ones for kids such as Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride. I also adore Depp so I was eager to get my hands on this DVD. What a total disappointment. I found the whole film tedious - from start to finish, and it was a chore to watch it but I was determined to see it all in case it improved as it went along. It didn't. Upto now I have quietly enjoyed the first 3 movies although they were nothing special. In previous reviews I gave all of them 3/5 and to be honest up until the final 20 minutes I was about to award the same for 'the Goblet of Fire'. Another Harry Potter film and just like the first 2 films this is an enjoyable film whilst being nothing special. In fact this is a little better than the its two prequels which is a reason I enjoyed it more. Having enjoyed the first series of the street I was very pleased that a second series was made and again it was brilliant.Outstanding acting in every episode from some of Britain's best actors and actresses.
The storylines are very gritty and emotional at times and I must say that they not what you would call over the top.Very believable and overall I think this is what great television is all about.Recommended.

I'm not usually fond of films I regard as claustrophobic - limited number of characters cooped up together in an unchanging location - however, this started on TV, I was too lazy to change channels and as the story moved along I got hooked and watched it right through. I love the Harry Potter books and enjoy all the films. The only problem is that as the books are getting longer more & more is getting cut out when they're made into films. I'd rather have this film longer & have all the story in. Still fantastic though!
