In addition to all the positive things about this DVD I would just also like to mention two drawbacks:
1.) If you don't like the Walt Disney singing parades, this is a no for I'm afraid it contains quite a few
2.) The stories do NOT come to a natural and obvious end but rather one leads on to the other so you do have the debate as to whether the child may not watch a little more ...and just another little more ...

The 123's part of this is excellent. My son has watched it time and time again and now knows all his numbers from 1 - 9. There are songs and a storyline to keep him interested and he still enjoys it now.

The ABCs bit is not good. It only deals with a handful of letters - and capital letters at that - and rhyming words which unless the child understands what rhymes are and can already read is a bit pointless. We have watched it a few times, but it's not really worth it.

Lovely opening credits with a snowy scene leading to the House at Pooh Corner, leads into reminiscence of an earlier Christmas, then into an older film where Pooh has forgotten to add his request to the Christmas list. I prefer the older cartoons. The voices are much better. Then another newer film. Not very long but gives you a warm fuzzy feeling no matter how old you are.

A thoroughly enjoyable set of cartoons featuring all the usual friends. A great buy especially for little ones. If they love any of the characters, then they'll love this. The best episode 'stripes', Tigger loses his most beloved things! Teaches the child that it's what's on the inside that counts, apperances aren't everything! A heart warming set of stories. Highly recommendable.
