Thomas The Tank Engine - The Great Discovery [2008] Best Selling > DVD > Other by: Thomas and Friends October 06, 2008 We took our 21mth old to see the premiere of this film on the weekend. He was mesmorised! The film is one hour long episode broken up by songs - it kept our toddler entertained! It has a great story line for the older kids. The remix of the Thomas song at the end is awesome! Would recommend this for any avid Thomas fan - would make a great christmas present! |

I bought Volumes 2 & 3 at the same time as getting this one, and despite any editing and overdubbing, I still enjoy settling down to a couple of hours fun entertainment from these timeless characters. Winnie The Pooh - ABC's and 123's Best Selling > DVD > Other by: Winnie the Pooh April 04, 2005 The 123's part of this is excellent. My son has watched it time and time again and now knows all his numbers from 1 - 9. There are songs and a storyline to keep him interested and he still enjoys it now. The ABCs bit is not good. It only deals with a handful of letters - and capital letters at that - and rhyming words which unless the child understands what rhymes are and can already read is a bit pointless. We have watched it a few times, but it's not really worth it. |

Spider-Man - The Animated Series Best Selling > DVD > Other by: Spider-Man April 05, 2004 Disapointed with this collection. I got it for my young son, aged 4 and it is nothing like the original far more gentle 1967 series. It is certainly not aimed at younger viewers and the PG rating is right. Language and level of violence not suitable in my opinion for younger children.Fine if you're a teenager but not for Spidey's youngest fans. Plus the animation is very jerky and fast moving not good for them...or me either. Guess I'll have to await until the original series is released in region 2 ! |
