This is an excellent product. I got this when my little girl was a few months old, but unlike some of the other reviewers' children, my girl wasn't glued to the set. Don't get me wrong, she was interested but not fascinated. At 17 months now in September '07 I have started to put it back on for her and she is now transfixed by it. My 8 month old baby has just started to take an interest in the t.v. and is mesmerised by Bear in the Big Blue House, although she gets bored after the first 3 minutes. With Baby Einstein she is completely amazed for at least 15minutes! Her responses to the animals are hilarious and keeps us all entertained. She now knows to look to the t.v for the 'dog'. I have this on rent from Amazon but I will definately be buying it.

This is the second Baby Einstein DVD I've purchased and my 7 month old daughter loves it. It has fantastic music and is high energy in some parts and very calm in others. Each colour is introduced where several images highlighting the colour are shown with music and sound effects. The little puppets are really entertaining. Vincent van Goat 'paints' pictures at the end of every colour sequence. To an adult, it might not look like it's well produced but my daughter finds this DVD really entertaining.

Baby Beethoven takes the original concept devloped in Baby Mozart to a new high. OK, one might argue that the concept involves marketing of different brands and types of toys, but that should not detract from the concept that young ones tend to love these DVDs.

If your child, like mine, has recently fallen in love with Mickey Mouse this is just perfect! Classic stories (probably well known by everybody over 30) full of the usual charm. My 3 years old laughs out loud watching it! Well worth it!

I brought this dvd for my one year old daughter who did not give it a second glance, but i paid good money for it so we perservered!Now she is two and it has become a firm favorite, she loves all the differrent images shown, showing all the different shapes and comparing them to things we have around the house ie oranges are circles and she loves to tell me this. I think this is a good dvd to sit down with your kids and get some interaction with them, i will certainly be buying baby einstein again!

I got this DVD for my 5 month old after great sucess with the Baby Mozart DVD- altho I am not keen to put her in front of the tellie at all, there are times when every parent needs to get the washing done etc and this DVD is brilliant entertainment for little children- it's full of wonderful colors and sounds and the language aspect is so fantastic. I would highly recommend this for any child- my baby never tires of it and is constantly entertained and stimulated.

We bought this DVD for my son when he was five months old and he absolutely adores it.
The themes for water are various - sea, lakes, rain, water in the home and some of the clips are truly beautiful. It's a very relaxing DVD for both baby and parents and wonderful when baby gets fretful, grizzly or is feeling a little under the weather. The puppets are comical and very sweet and teach friendship and sharing at an early age.

My 14 month old son loved to watch this on sunday morning tv and it was the only thing that made him sit still for more than 5 minutes, so i bought the dvd and it is a God send! He loves the bright colours and the puppets are amazing. It is also educational and lots of fun. Highly recommend and a fantastic price!
