I have to admit, i agree fully with the other reviewer who gave it 1 star, you'll either love it or hate it. I was one of those people that watched it a few times but i facepalmed more then laughed at most of the attempted jokes. I found the situation stupid so that was a bad start for me. I know a lot of people who like it but that is their opinion and this is mine, so i have as much right to give this one star as they have to give it five.

More fantastic Galactica episodes, recommended to all fans of sci-fi and great television.

Why all the nonsense 1 stars? Don't hold your breath for the complete Season 4 package, there is no Part 1 labeled on the box. This is gonna be season 4 for a DVD release and the next will be season 5. I know this ain't correct but it's just they way things have happened after the writers strike.

Important note: this package comes with the feature movie Razor so no need to buy it separate.

Having been unimpressed with first series of The Wire, I only started watching this, the second series, due to the endless critical praise that I kept seeing every time I picked up a newspaper. And I'm glad I did. The second series of The Wire is a huge improvement on the first. A magnificent and very appropriate finale to what has been the best TV series I have ever watched. The best by a very, very long way.

Beautifully concluded, without ever trying to have all the answers, the final scenes in particular are deeply affecting.

For some favourite characters, the end is inevitable, and it is an incredibly poignant, human drama, in spite of the makers' ongoing insistence that the story is plot driven.

It is very good acting, but some historical facts are incorrect.

We are doing the Tudors at school and watching this brought boring history to life!
A point though - Henry 8th had red hair - in this, he has dark brown/black hair!

I also found it hard to distinguish between characters, as a lot of the men had dark hair and short beards! lol!

But overall would recommend, also series 2. Whichever was on tv recently (september 08) I loved.

How can this be the complete series when season 4 isn't even fully aired yet? Oh wait, it is ... with only 14 episodes! Sorry, but that's a rip off. The show is great, but it is also a lot of hype. And as is seems to be typical with Abraham's stuff, you never get the answers you really want. I thnk most of the people who fanatasize about this show would get a lot from the book "How to keep an idiot waiting... I'll tell you later" by JJ Abrahams.

Pacing is completely screwed with nothing interesting happening until halfway through the 11 episodes. Dull new characters in Maya (with her ridiculous ability), Alejandro (who ends up being totally pointless) and Monica. Plot is a rehash of the first series but done in half the time and with no character building or any of the mystery of series 1.
Worth watching for episodes 8 and 9 (Four Months Ago & Cautionary Tales) only.
