I was thrilled to see you can get it on DVD I want to share this with my 3 daughters great film lovers with great senses of humours.
Derek Nimo was brilliant in this film, when I saw this originally many years ago, he was in a british sit com called 'O Brother' he always made/makes me laugh!

I regard Lady and The Tramp as one the best Disney classics that I have watched. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this classic. Disney has delivered a masterpiece with this fine piece of animation feature length.

We have to bear in mind this movie was first made in the 1980`s and cannot be judged along with disney of today. It is indeed a brilliant and engrossing movie, still loved by children - but it seems, judged too harshly by adults who clearly expect `more` these days. The 6 year old i bought it for absolutely loves it and watches it over and over..

If you collect Disney DVD's (the orinigal cinema releases, not the poor quality sequels straight to video) then check out Brother Bear 2 as a suprisingly up to orignal quality potential purchase.
The songs are of high quality, the animation is smooth and detailed and the voices are all the same as the original movie (except the main character, originally Joaquin Phoenix).
Very suprised that this has so much work put into it being so disapointed by Atlantis 2 and Hunchback 2.

All I can say is WOW! this is one of the best films I have ever seen, none stop comedy from start to finish, especially in the character of clueless Morgan.
The whole muppet cat is magnificent. From this film I feel i have learn't a valuable lesson: the best thing about being a pirate is you don't have to wear a suit.

I'm struggling to understand why other reviewers for this appalling film don't point out the lifelessness of the main human 'romantic' leads; the self-parodying OTT performance by Glenn Close or the overall naffness of a sequel that just should not have been made. Infants may just like it, but they'd need to be pretty easily pleased. No - this film proves two things ... the current dirth of talent and imagination at the top in Disney, and the fact that unless sequels are based upon an established story, then they are generally best avoided. ...
