I bought this as a Christmas present for my kids, and we all enjoyed it a lot. A real trip down memory lane having seen it at the movies as a kid myself, but the humour still works on the next generation.

Thoroughly recommended.

If you collect Disney DVD's (the orinigal cinema releases, not the poor quality sequels straight to video) then check out Brother Bear 2 as a suprisingly up to orignal quality potential purchase.
The songs are of high quality, the animation is smooth and detailed and the voices are all the same as the original movie (except the main character, originally Joaquin Phoenix).
Very suprised that this has so much work put into it being so disapointed by Atlantis 2 and Hunchback 2.

This film version of Jules Verne's novel, "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" has few, if any flaws. It won Oscars for art direction and special effects (deservedly) and the performances (especially James Mason and Kirk Douglas) were overlooked at Oscar time, probably because science fiction is often not taken seriously.

I normally don't go for Disney family movies like this, but I'm a sucker for a good switching places gimmick. Basically, the plot revolves around Jamie Lee Curtis (the single mom) and Lindsay Lohan (the stereotypically rebellious teenaged daughter) switching bodies for a day after eating some magical fortune cookies. Wow - this is beautiful and my 2 year old loves it. I am subjected to watching it more often than I can admit and I can't tell you just how lovely it is for adults and children alike. All the songs are fabulous and my little girl who dislikes CBeebies simply adores getting to know the scenes inside out. I don't mind that she doesn't follow the overall story (she's just turned 2) as she gains so much from the little details she picks out each time.

I LOVE this movie!! It was one of the first Disney christmasmovies I`ve ever bought, and I watch it several times every year.

My favorite is "Mickeys christmas carol", it`s just the ultimate christmas movie.
