This is the second Baby Einstein DVD I've purchased and my 7 month old daughter loves it. It has fantastic music and is high energy in some parts and very calm in others. Each colour is introduced where several images highlighting the colour are shown with music and sound effects. The little puppets are really entertaining. Vincent van Goat 'paints' pictures at the end of every colour sequence. To an adult, it might not look like it's well produced but my daughter finds this DVD really entertaining.

I ordered this for a friend. She child-minds and was having problems potty-training her current charge. He loved the video! Not only has he been singing along to the songs but he is now much happier about using his potty. And that's after only the first day of using it! She says it has been a big help.

In recent reviews, I have questioned a great deal about the values and qualities of modern Disney movies. I am a little baffled in whether I am watching a typical Disney animation at all.

I remember the good old disney classics that I really enjoyed watching for its endless humour and cherfulness. Unfortunately, Atlantis- The Lost Empire paints a different picture. It is sinister and darker, with the Disney magic totally abscence. The characters are gloomy and seldomly smile.

I bought this for my nephew for his birthday as he is 8 and a Tintin fan - he is also French and does not speak a word of English. The description and commentaries stated that the DVDs were in French and English - this is a lie it is in English only (not even any sub-titles). I'm sure these are very good DVDs if you want English translations but if you want the ORIGINAL language or if you are heard of hearing and require sub-titles then you'll have to look elsewhere. It is not difficult to see why they appear to be cheap.

This film, in my opinion, has a very weak storyline and would benefit from some funnier jokes. The plot is not very original and although it is one of the worst films I have seen for acting I realise that it was also aimed at wowing the audience with iceskating. My one year old loves this dvd and wiggles around to the catchy tunes. This dvd encourages children to explore music and dance and be confident in expressing themselves.
As an adult it's one of those dvd's that you don't mind watching over and over again!!

My favourite is Luna and the goodbye song, although it's getting embarrassing singing it at work.
