My 2 yr old daughter had this for her Christmas eve pressi and the whole family sat down to watch it ... We felt very disappointed that only the 1st episode was Christmas themed and the other two were just nice episodes. Pity. They missed their chance to put an awesome DVD together. BUT, the Christmas episode is really good!

'The Empire Strikes Back', the second of the "old" Star Wars releases, is likely to be the darker of the collection, yet at the same time, the most accomplished in terms events. Their are many well shot scenes that are so cleverly edited, and the early fight scene on the snow planet between the rebels and the empire is superbly shot.

This film is a lovely tale of true love, easy to watch, not in the slightest scary (as some disneys can be!) and just a nice all round family film. Great songs and story line.

The Little Mermaid is one of my favourite films of all time, i am 19 years old now and to be honest it has not lost any of its beauty over the thousands of times i have watched it. ironically the original film was released in cinemas the same summer i was born, so who knows maybe it was meant to be. I just watched this the other day, for old times sake. It was brilliant - better than I remembered. Whoever said that you can outgrow disney couldn't have been more wrong. I laughed and laughed along with my friend, and even if we were laughing at new found jokes, it didn't matter. It's definately worth buying. But if you're older, watch it with a friend to make it more enjoyable.

I watched The Incredibles with my 4 year old son this afternoon. This was the second attmept at watching it after we had to switch it off some months before because the film became too intense for him. He wanted to watch it again ("All the way through this time!") and so we settled down, turned down the lights and amped up the 5.1 surround sound.
The first ten minutes had me laughing at Mr Incredible's attempts to do his duty as a superhero whilst aiming to attend what is obviously a very important function on time.
