This was a complete blast from the past I used to love this cartoon growing up in the 70s I thought it was good then its even better now . My daughter absolutly loves the cartoon she wants to watch it every weekend and so do I lol .Just keep the Hanna Barbera cartoons comming theyre fantastic and they keep the memories flooding back .I would recomend this to any thirty somethings ...

This series was massively popular during 1980's on Satudary mornings and now on DVD for everyone too see again a couple of episodes don't have the introduction which is well known to everyone who saw this and can be seen on YouTube but all 47 episode which is seasons 1-3.

This is a great film from the series of the 80's in the audio commentry you learn why the story goes like it does. The action in the film is of a level immpossible for any live action film to come near. all in all a brilliant film.

My 14 month old son loved to watch this on sunday morning tv and it was the only thing that made him sit still for more than 5 minutes, so i bought the dvd and it is a God send! He loves the bright colours and the puppets are amazing. It is also educational and lots of fun. Highly recommend and a fantastic price!

How could they crop the 4:3 image to 16:9? Taking an artwork and chopping off bits for no good reason? Whoever was responsible for that decision should be fired. Its as bad as pan-n-scanning widescreen material. And whoever put this package together is so out of touch, that the character in the background of the cover, who is positioned in a mysterious pose in the top right, is actually Kirano the Tracy family's chef!? Thunderbirds is simply one of the best childrens TV (although my Dad loved it) programs ever made. To be honest I'm not sure now whether it was made with children specifically in mind or not.

Watching it now on DVD it remains fantastic even to my 40something eyes. The picture quality is great, it has dolby 5.1 surround sound and fortunately as it is set in 2065 you can't say well that never happened (like Space 1999 for example).
