The sheer skill involved in making these films along with amazing scripts and fabulous humour makes for entertainment that myself and my kids thoroughly enjoy. Any time it goes on I feel myself drawn to it. It is ageless and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Here is what is wrong about these dvds warner bros(greedy brothers) have put out:

They have decided to make each disc (on most discs & most golden collection volumes) have the same character over and over which gets right on your funbags after a while. The looney tunes unique selling point has always been that each episode is followed by a different character. I bought this DVD for the kids to watch in the car during a long drive on holiday in France. I notice that all the other reviews are concerned with the quality/editing/dubbing etc, however my review is aimed at parents who need to keep their kids entertained! For under a fiver (just!) I think this series of Tom and Jerry DVD's are excellent value. The DVD itself is double-sided, which helps to pack all those great cartoons in, and thankfully their are no adverts at the start; you can be playing in under 20 seconds from when you've put the disc in!

I can't say I was terribly impressed by this. I have never been much of a fan of Winne the Pooh, but this being such an...English....series of books, the American accents of all the characters in this Disney animation (bar Christopher Robin, who only puts in an appearance during the last two minutes of the film) soon began to grate. I'm sure this point has been complained about by many people many times before, but it is startlingly annoying. I'm sure the kids won't notice, but if you have to watch it with them - you might.

I loved the first Little Mermaid film (I even had a fish called flounder and the Arial Barbie Doll!) but I really didn't like this sequal. I felt the plot lacked tension and the characters, great in the first film, have become incredibly annoying, especially Arial who has become some madly obsessed mother who is determined to keep Melody, her daughter, out of the sea whatever it takes after Ursula's sister, Morganna has threatened to harm the little girl.
