Although everyone probably best remembers Gerry Anderson for "Thunderbirds", "Captain Scarlet" is considerably superior. Both the effects and the puppets are more realistic, and the the writing has a stronger darker edge.

The same goes for Region 2 Hong Kong Phooey. Get the Complete Box Set from the well known high street music/DVD shop or their online store as it will of course be cheaper. It's exclusive to them at the moment. No doubt these box sets will be generally available but not for a while. I only give it One star because of the way these are packaged. The content however is a true Hannah Barbera cartoon classic which gets 4 stars. The top Five stars goes to Wacky Races in my book.

My Kids are 2.5 and 3.5 years old. I have seen the video with my kids and I have always found it funny and interesting. But unlike some I have to watch this video 2 a week and I never get board. Kids love it.

Lovely opening credits with a snowy scene leading to the House at Pooh Corner, leads into reminiscence of an earlier Christmas, then into an older film where Pooh has forgotten to add his request to the Christmas list. I prefer the older cartoons. The voices are much better. Then another newer film. Not very long but gives you a warm fuzzy feeling no matter how old you are.
