My mum had the book the swiss family robinson, and she gave it to me to read. I found it very exciting and interesting. I was soo happy when i found the video of Swiss family Robinson.
The family consists of Mum, Dad and three brothers.
They get ship-wrecked, and they get on a lovely Island, but there are pirates and wild animals. will they survive? its a really good watch for kids and big kids too!!

firstly, i would just like to say, that this dvd bumper set has to be one of the most essential buys this year, ( if your a full time parent, youl know what i mean)

here we have nearly 2 full hours of postman pat and all his acquaintences, good old mrs goggins, ted glen, alf, dr gilbertson and new pals, ajay bains and wife, and daughter meera.

I have to admit the initial half an hour of Little Chicken captured my full interest. The noticeable Disney's humour and values became evident. The sequences of introducing the story and characters is well delivered. At this point, the movie looked promising and a bright Disney's prospect.

This is an excellent product. I got this when my little girl was a few months old, but unlike some of the other reviewers' children, my girl wasn't glued to the set. Don't get me wrong, she was interested but not fascinated. At 17 months now in September '07 I have started to put it back on for her and she is now transfixed by it. I was amazed by how quickly she was picking up on things, shouting "Choo" when the train comes on (as it often does) and how excited she gets when the furry animals come on.

I watched this film first on the plane to Gran Canaria! And as far an inflight entertainment goes it was perfect! It really set the right mood for my holiday! When I got home i bought it on DVD!

It's such a poignant film which really moves you. Its also educational as it tells you how Peter Pan came about. But above all it has teh perfect acting duo of Kate Winslet and Johnny Depp. They compliment each other beautifully and really tell a story. This DVD is a rare gem in childrens entertainment. Percy is a kind, caring 'gardener' who lives in his little shed (very well equiped for a small space) with all his animal 'friends' around. All lovely episodes with good stories teaching children about caring for the environment and other people/animals. Would thoroughly recommend as 'family viewing'. We all love it in our house.

I love the Harry Potter books and enjoy all the films. The only problem is that as the books are getting longer more & more is getting cut out when they're made into films. I'd rather have this film longer & have all the story in. Still fantastic though!
