My daughter is 2 and had all the baby einsteins from birth, this is even better, she loves it, i love that the cartoon characters walk and fly around real video sceans around the world, visit famous landmarks, learn about listening to music, really worth the money, then they learn loads instead of just watching baby like storys

The animation is incredible: the facial expressions, the body movement, the play of light, the attention to detail takes your breath away. Add to this a superb soundtrack, and you realise why it got such good critical reviews.

I was worried this might be aimed more at the very young than some recent animation films but I can say this has something for everyone, no matter their age! With an all star voice cast that includes Will Smith, Robert De Niro, Angelina Jolie amongst many other well known actors, there is plenty of talent to be heard. It's very good how they manage to include characteristics of the actors in their animated characters. ... and one that far too many people haven't heard of. I believe that this was conventionally animated, when CGI was taking an increasing share of the market. Perhaps because it didn't have the high-definition quality of the Pixar films (think Nemo) Disney never seemed to do much to promote it.

There are some films, such as "Casablanca," that should never be remade. David Lean's "Great Expectations" is one of them.

The cast--headed by John Mills as the grown-up Pip, and which includes the rotund Francis L. I was first introduced to this film as a child and have recently rediscovered it at age 23. I still love it. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are so hilarious as the evil Sanderson sisters and the musical numbers are fab. I agree there should be a soundtrack.

Definately one to watch, kids will love it, I put it on for my younger brother and he loved it. The only thing that creeped him out was the talking cat, think Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This cat is Sarcastic, dry and ultmately hilarious.

This is the third movie based upon the Asterix comic books. The first was pitiful, the second is definitely one of the best comic film I've ever seen, the third one... is anything but funny... In fact, it did flop in France and had lots of lots of lots of very bad reviews. I do not always agree with reviews in magazines or papers but in that case, I couldn't agree more... Avoid this movie or give your money for charity it will be more useful...
