The sheer skill involved in making these films along with amazing scripts and fabulous humour makes for entertainment that myself and my kids thoroughly enjoy. Any time it goes on I feel myself drawn to it. It is ageless and I can't recommend it highly enough.

If you loved the original all those years ago with the voice of the inimitable John Alderton, you will love this new updated version. The theme tune has been revamped, the stories are all brand new and so are some of the characters. There's a new Mountain Rescue to add to the emergency fun, crewed by an Aussie pilot and his helicopter. All the old favourite original residents of Pontypandy are there too, as eccentric as ever and constantly needing one emergency service or other!

This is a good one, featuring some of the later 'earlier' Pat stories.
Now, what I want to see, is the very earliest Pat stories on DVD, I actually prefer the man's voice doing the women voices on the early stories and cannot believe that they are still not available on DVD. An oversight that surely must be put right soon!

This is a film that is simply a great story well told. The effects are amazing and it contains some big names doing the voices of the animals, but it is something that people of all ages will enjoy for a whole multitude of reasons. You will definitely enjoy it.

Depending on when you were born, The Clangers dvd is either going to be 5-star knockout brilliant, or minus-several-million-stars 'what the heck is this?' rubbish.
There's just a chance that if you didn't grow up following the antics of these animated characters then you might still be captured by the innocent delight of knitted pink mousey things which live on a blue moon and hide under saucepan lids. This sequel to the rescuers was something special to disney, as this is the first sequal of feature animation to also become a feature. This is currently the only sequel to date to become a feature; this shows disney had great expectations and faith in this film.
