My 19 month old granddaughter loved this Maisie dvd immediately, and its use of colours and numbers is gently educational too. The little stories about everyday things balance repetitiveness and variety and the story line holds her attention. This DVD was good value for the price I paid.My son adores all things musical & singalong so I thought this would be great,he really enjoys the songs he knows.However,there are quite a few songs which are not so popular & so he rapidly looses interest.The good thing about this DVD is that you can pick which songs are played.I highly recommend this DVD for children aged 3 & above.My son is a little younger so may explain the lack of interest.Overall an entertaining DVD,but no replacement for Jim ... My one year old loves this dvd and wiggles around to the catchy tunes. This dvd encourages children to explore music and dance and be confident in expressing themselves.
As an adult it's one of those dvd's that you don't mind watching over and over again!!

My favourite is Luna and the goodbye song, although it's getting embarrassing singing it at work.

This is the only Bear DVD we own but my 2 year old has been an avid fan for the last twelve months! She sings the songs and dances along with Bear, Pip & Pop, Tutter, Treelow and OhJo and would definitely watch it over and over again if her cries for 'more!' are anything to go by. This is another masterpiece from the Jim Henson studios. HIGHLY recommended!

I ordered this for a friend. She child-minds and was having problems potty-training her current charge. He loved the video! Not only has he been singing along to the songs but he is now much happier about using his potty. And that's after only the first day of using it! She says it has been a big help.

Our 20 month old daughter adores this dvd and sings claps and dances in time with Barney and his friends, anything else on tv does not even get a look in, unfortunately though its heavy going on the parents, those songs just go round and round in your head, still is only about 40 minutes long.- happy clapping folks!

I was quite excited about buying this dvd because of the reviews i had read. It was quite disappointing that it was old fashioned and did not hold my 16mth old's attention for more than 5mins! I could not return it as the packaging had been unsealed. Would recommend that anyone looking for a a good signing dvd, keep looking. Firstly, my 4 year old does request to watch this DVD, and I notice she has picked up some of the words. She doesn't watch it all the way through now (she did the first few times), so she's very good at the French introduced in the first half! So it can't be 'too bad' - BUT:
