Bittersweet World

This album is so good. I admit, I am somehow a fan of this girls music! Autobiography was a great album, then I loved the releases from her second -'boyfriend' is a fab song to throw your head to! Then she hits us with this new album 'Bittersweet world'

Very easy to sing along to, and to dance to! I would love to hear 'boys' in a club! Generally a great pop album, i love 'murder' so dark and mysterious!

The Definitive Collection

Like any 'definitive' collection this one most decidedly isn't, in fact it's something of a ragbag - BUT it is most certainly excellent and while not the last word on Martin's career to date is a pretty good inroduction to what he does. There is a fine range of material here, all of it - bar the stomping 'Lakes of Ponchartrain' showcasing his quite remarkable ability as a guitarist (and occasionally banjo player). The Bramble Briar

Martin Simpson is an exceptional talent in the folk scene. The Bramble Briar is a gem of an album in the true spirit of English folk,without the delving into Americana...roots,bluegrass,C&W... which MS has in the past found occasion to dabble in.
The guitar picking is so sharp and clear it could shatter glass ! The vocals and arrangements are spot on. A fine return to form from one our most under-rated musicians

Autobiography

I have to say this is a very good album, I can see why it has beaten her sister's (Jessica Simpson) album successes as Ashlee appeals more to teens! "Pieces of Me" was a smart move and it shows that she is actually a very good singer but some people just put her down because she had one little lip syncing incident but she still sings in her own songs. Nowadays she has learned from that SNL incident and she sings live more often. "La La" also has to be the best attempts at a rock/pop song from a teen singer as it is really full ... Read More:
