This is my favourite movie soundtrack of all time.

Harry Gregson-Williams' score is flawless, magical and layered. He uses an array or instruments and choirs, and each add to the over-all feel of Narnia.

The Narnian theme runs through this soundtrack, culminating in my favourite track - 'The Battle'.

HGW did an amazing job of capturing all the wonder and magic of Narnia, and just as Lucy is experiencing it all for the first time, we feel like we are, too.

I can't believe that only a month ago I didn't know Marc Andre Hamelin. I have been listening to classical music seriously for 6 years (i'm 24). I've went through most of the recordings of all the great pianists of the beginning of the century - Rubinstein, Richter, Hoffmann, Gilels, Gould... you name them - everyone. I was, I didn't think I'd like this, But I like to give things a go and I do like the song "you'll be in my heart" but I was nicely surprised. It's a beautiful soundtrack. Kala being a highlight in my opinion.

Barber sonata is one of the most dazzling among the more recent digital recordings by younger generation. Prokofiev's Toccata is played faster than any pianist as far as I know, pushed to the limit of human capability. This one can beat even Katsaris' famous live version and Oleg Marshev's Danacord version which themselves are quite staggering.
