good soundtrack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was easy to listen to and it was relaxing!!! I have the movie aswell which sequels the original mulan superbly!!!!!! my only bad point is the song "lesson number 1" - i hated it!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best thing about this CD is the cover and I have to say, what a cover it is. The Sgt. Pepper spin off is very clever, however, the same can't be said for the music.

Though some of the songs are quite catchy, they aren't very tuneful and they aren't particularly funny. The high pitched tones of Lisa and Bart can become annoying and this isn't really one to listen to over and over again.

Hans Zimmer is certainly a good sountrack composer and he's done the job well here, but I don't feel the music on its own is anything special really. I mainly wanted to hear the Spider Pig track which always makes me laugh. So unless you really loved the music when you saw the movie, or are a very big Simpsons fan then there's not much here really. I expect when I've seen the movie a few more times it will be nice to listen to the soundtrack and be reminded of the various funny parts though.

Honestly, I have only purchased the one track, You're The One, and it's amazing. I just wanted to share that! I love the tone of Tomlin's voice, and I love the raw quality that is sometimes, but not always, detectable in his other work - and on this track it is really showcased and his passion in what he's singing is really apparent - it resonates with me because of it's Christian message, and also because it's just a great song in its composition and execution.
