The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a 5 star album displaying once again Menken's talents. The music can be enjoyed by child fans of the movie and adult music lovers, although I feel some messages in the songs are too heavy for young children. The music has a catholic choral style (as some is in latin) as well as a gypsy bohemian theme contrasting. I simply love this soundtrack as to be able to hear the background music by itself is ismply wonderful as you only need to close your eyes & listen to the music to have some idea of what part of the film it is from

My favourite song happens to be 'I'll Make A Man Out Of You', but saying that though both versions of 'Reflection' are rated highly aswell

A must add to your Disney soundtrack collection as the guy who composed the music has since died
