I bought this for my one year old niece and made the mistake of showing it to my husband. After 5 minutes, he decided that our 2 month old baby loved it and that Isabel couldn't possibly have it.
At 3 months old now, Bobby is facinated by it and is just starting to reach out for toys. I can't wait for him to get into it and I'm sure he will love playing with it for a good while.

Extremely disappointed with this product. Looks cheap and nasty, and, despite being sold as microwave safe, the melamine heats up so that it is too hot to touch with bare hands (let alone toddler's hands) if you put food on it and then in the microwave. And I'm talking about flashing some Weetabix at a medium temperature for 30 secs, not nuking a meal from frozen.

I was horrified that something aimed at toddlers had the potential to cause harm. I would most definitely not buy this again.

She can spend a considerable amount of time banging them together, switching it on and off, watching the lights change colour and listening to them. When she is being a bit difficult , I give her the maracas and it does the trick.

I read that other people have had problem with this monior but we have used tomy monitors on all 3 of our kids and are currently using this one on our 7 month old and we have NEVER had problems.
