When the track and cars are working well my 3 year old boy and 6 year old girl love it. But I have to say that I spend a great deal of time putting the cars back together. i bought this toy for my little boy when he was crawling, and had no idea who bob was, what a steam-roller is ecetera ecetera. he just loved the bright colour and that he could crawl after it!

of all the bob toys (and yes we now have them all) this one has the best flywheel - it runs the longest (both of them - we had duplicates), is the most solidly built, and is the easiest for small hands to hold.

I bought this for my 3 month old nephew. He is now 18 months and it is one of his favourite toys. The speech is in UK english and there are a variety of different sayings.

As the train is pushed along it makes a steam train noise so I didn't have to look for my nephew, I heard him coming.

The only downside is if like him you keep using it a lot the batteries run down. An excellent toy overall and it keeps your little one active.
