This really is a great model - if you don't like painting or gluing. It snaps together in about 20 minutes, but the end results are great - and is almost idiot proof.

Mine's looking good on my desk at work, and is a great talking point.

i bought this for my son he a tough 2 and a half year old and neded something tough for him when i was a lad tonka ment it was tough as steel this is made of a tough plastic not sure how tough yet need him to go in a tantrum to find that out but its not the same as tonka of old but i will still get him more as they are good and sounds and lights keep him amused

A great addition to a lego city. Very easy to build with two seperate stages and large pieces.

However, this isnt really a practical set. The bins dont tip far enough into the rear of the truck meaning the litter wont come out. Also the lack of smooth tiles on the bed of the truck prevents the tipping function from being able to work without considerable force.

This set is brilliant. The roadster was much bigger than I thought it would be, (over 35cm), and has every detail imaginable, from engine to bonnet stand, brake levers to glove compartments, it really is very intrequate.

It also gives instructions for a Hummer-like vehicle and a drag racer. Again the Suv was brilliant. Both models take about 4 hours to build.

Unfortunatly, the drgster isn't up to scratch. It only uses one third of the pieces and annoyingly they supply you with 3 'inspiration ... Read More:
