When I first got this, I was initially disappointed at the size. The picture doesn't really give you an idea, and I suppose I was thinking the train itself would be chunky and big. In fact, it's a fair size, but quite dinky. The loop, when setup, is about 12" across and the train is about 3" long.

This is quite entertaining for the kids. Mine got it when she was 9 months old, and she still plays with it, even if it's only for a few minutes at a time.

i tend to fully agree with all the reviews so far about how easily it falls apart, but my son who was only one and a half at the time, soon learnt how to reconnect the carriages himself, and enjoyed doing so.

this toy has been covered in squished banana at breakfast time, immersed in countless bubble baths, rolled up and down the slide in the garden - and even found itself thrown in the fish pond once - but still it is intact and very much loved by my little boy. yes hasbro could have tried ... We were given this for my daughters third birthday. It is a great introduction to board games and rolling dice etc. There are 2 games - colours and shapes so educational and achievable for young ones. The basic concept is you add a spot or a shape depending on what is on the dice until you get a full dinosaur. We still play it on a very regular basis.

I bought this for my 3 month old as Iwas finding it hard to entertain her. I had to pad out the seat to begin with so she couldn't move about and bounce as she was so young. She did find it so easy to get the music and the lights to flash it helped to keep her amused for a little while until she got bigger and could stay in for longer. I wasn't sure about getting one of the dearer options incase she didn't like it and this was a bargain at £33.

We were very disapointed with this item - the bell ring is VERY quiet and the magnetic ringer only works with brio trucks that have large metal hubs on the wheels. If, like us, you have a hybrid set of Tesco/Thomas/Brio etc. you may find some problems with getting the bell to ring at all.

It's a good idea but just doesn't work well in practice.
we recommend a level crossing or collapsing bridge instead.

This product is really good and very simple to do, however make sure you launch, and more importantly, land onto grass. Our first attempt was off concrete and was great until it landed back onto the concrete. Although there were no obvious breaks, the landing damaged the rocket and now the mixture leaks out of the bottom and it doesn't work anymore. As with the other review, we have purchased another as it is definately worth another go!

It sounds great on paper - soothes your baby to sleep and should they awaken during the night, it is sound-activated and should soothe them back to sleep. But as the other reviewers have said, this was far too loud and the slightest noise reactivated it - it woke the baby up and us in the next room! Aside from this the projected image is unclear (had no idea what it was meant to be) Looking at the box gives you the false impression that all sorts of wonderful images are projected round the room...

Brought this for my son when he was a baby. He is now 6 and I have given the playnest away but it is a very good baby aid. He was able to sit and play with ease. He would not slump doen and loved looking at the different activites. He would even fall asleep in it. Once he got older he would crawl in and out the ring and play with the different activities.
