My little ones received the tardis playset for christmas so I thought I'd get them some more figures to play with and this set seemed good value. The Doctor and Martha are perfectly fine but The Master and Professor Yana are made of a very fragile plastic. They were playing quite nicely with the Yana doll and his head snapped off. I got this for my 7 month old daughter to teach her about "putting things in and taking things out". It took her a while to get it, but she always loved the individual toys, and chewing on the "bowl". These days one or other of the little fishies is always in her hands - small and very portable, with lots of different experiences in one reasonably priced toy. Would buy as a present for every baby I encounter!

I found this set in a local toyshop on my birthday and snapped it up. It's part of a recent range that's been brought out (presumably to coincide with the 4th Indiana Jones movie). The set is typical Lego; fun, durable and easy to play with. It has all the booby traps from the movie sequence (the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark), which all work beautifully. My daughter is 26 months, and not so coordinated with coloring yet so I thought this would be a good beginning toy to help her get a bit handier with holding crayons and such. It's, well, so-so for this..... From the picture it seems you start with a 'white' or blank picture card. But there is coloring already on it, so when you do go there with your water pen, it's not like there is such a dramatic change. I thought this looked great but my baby gets bored after just a few minutes. He hasn't grasped that he needs to bounce up and down so the toys on it aren't stimulating enough to keep him amused. It was also really tough to put together and takes up a lot of space as it doesn't fold up much.
