This DVD was good value for the price I paid.My son adores all things musical & singalong so I thought this would be great,he really enjoys the songs he knows.However,there are quite a few songs which are not so popular & so he rapidly looses interest.The good thing about this DVD is that you can pick which songs are played.I highly recommend this DVD for children aged 3 & above.My son is a little younger so may explain the lack of interest.Overall an entertaining DVD,but no replacement ... I bought this for my now 13 month old daughter when she was about 5 months old as I wanted her to hear lots of english (we live in Spain) and she's loved it from the start ! She gets really excited when she sees the credits and hears the music and even dances ! i think all the in the night garden storys are wonderful. i have three young children and along with my husband we watch as a family. i find their way of kissing and hugging a good way to show young children love and friendship without corrupting their minds. i would much rather see those weird characters hugging and kissing than most thing we see on childrens tv.
