There are a few bright points to this CD, Wichita Lineman is one of them. The rest of the CD is an unfortunate hodgepodge of musical styles with the only unifying element being James Taylor who sounds to be either less than enthusiastic about the song choices or just plain bored. It would be nice if there was some common thread or theme running through these songs (like Michael McDonald's Motown CD's). Overall I have to give this one a thumbs down.

A true American treasure is Bob Dylan. Thanks to him, I'm getting less speeding tickets, because I'm listening to Tell Tale Signs in my car and I'm driving slower...to hear more Bob! The 2 CDs are loaded with great stuff, notably live tracks Ring Them Bells and High Water. GREAT! Other reveiws published here describe T.T.S. excellently, so I'll just make a few off-the-wall rididulous comments. After the disaster that was St Anger, you'd have forgiven Metallica fans for wondering if the band had lost its mojo. Thankfully, Death Magnetic puts all those fears to rest. This is one riff-heavy monster, recalling the days of Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning and the Black Album, all rolled into one. And thank God for the guitar solos which were completely absent from St Anger - Hammet rips into them like a man possessed, making up for lost time almost!

Of course we all love the Clash, who doesn't, and the limited amount of "official" releases means any new release from them gets trumpeted as must-have material, but does this really qualify? The Who played 2 dates @ Shea Stadium (home of the New York Mets baseball team, and at the time the New York Jets football team) in October of 1982, the Clash preceded them on both nights, this CD is the full Clash set from 10/13. "No Molestar"...the latest by Marco Antonio Solis. These are glorious melodies, beautiful rythems, and a voice even angels would love, this new album is a triumph of musical beauty. MAS keeps outdoing himself....he has no peer. I believe my two favorites on the disk are "Hasta Cuando" and "Tu Otra Vez". I have my little Spanish-English distionary to catch a lot of the words. Spanish is a lovely language and Marco is doing his heritage really proud.

Hudson is a very talented singer and actress,but this CD is just over baring,I do like the Disco single,"Spot Light,"and a couple of the other tracks,but its not a record I want to play over and over again.
